The round work table, devoted to the perspectives of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky port development as a main transport nodal point on Eastern part of North Sea Route was held in Petropavlovsk-KamchatskyOn 22 of October the first regional investment exhibition “Kamchatka today and tomorrow. Tradition of winning” was opened. Planned and being implemented priority investment projects in all spheres of economy and social sphere of the region were presented in the frames of exhibition which is to last till 31 of October.First day of the exhibition was devoted to the projects in transport sphere. Round work table “The development of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky port as a hub alongside North Sea Route” was held in the frames of the first day of exhibition. Representatives of key organizations in Kamchatka’s sea transport took part in the meeting, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky port’s captain, head of Rosmorport branch, JSC “Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky trade port”, shipping, ship-repair and tourist companies were among them. The main report was made by North Eastern Shipping Company and caused active discussion. Recommendations for development of that project worked out by the participants of round work table and submission to Kamchatsky region Agency of transport for further project implementation are to be the main results of discussion. |
