Tranzit DV Group presented project of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky port development within Russian-Asian investment forum in Hong Kong

     From 30 of October till 5 of November Russian-Asian investment forum is being held in Hong Kong. Leading by Igor Polchenko - President of the company- representatives of Tranzit DV Group are taking part in the Forum. On 3 of November in the frames of session devoted to the logistics’ projects Igor Polchenko made a report about Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Government and Tranzit DV Group joint project of stipulating the creation of hub in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky port in case of usage of North Sea Route as an international transport corridor.
    “Within the report devoted to government and private partnership made by Railya Fedorova - Russian Ministry of Finance representative – there was vivid idea that implementation of major projects on the base of government and private partnership will be successful if Special economic zones are created. Also Anna Pechenova – representative of Regional Development Ministry’s investment projects department – reported that constitutional agreement is one of effective tools of cooperation between Government and region when implementing major infrastructure projects. All that has something in common with the concept of the project that we presented concerning Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky port’s development. The project also stipulates the creation of special economic zone in Kamchatsky region, that of course means a lot not only on regional scale, but on country scale,” – Igor Polchenko comments.
    Igor Polchenko plans to conduct several negotiations further with Chinese shipping and trade companies, which send and transport cargoes from China to Europe for the purpose of presenting Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky port and North Sea Route to them.
    Russian-Asian investment forum gathered more than 150 companies and organizations of Russia, CIS countries, Singapore, PRC, Japan and more than 250 representatives of organizations and investors. The forum aims at attracting Asian investors’ attention to Russian and CIS companies, encouragement of investment activity, strengthening of cooperation between Russian and Asian companies and so on.
