“Elara-DV” tanker bunkers high-tonnage fleet with great volume of fuel in the ports of PrimoryeLast Saturday on 2 of July “Elara-DV” bunkered “ZIM Beijing” container vessel owned by ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd (Israel) - one of the biggest shipping companies in the world. 66.9 ton DWT-container vessel called at the port of Vostochny for bunker supply and finishing of loading on its way from Oakland (USA) to Ningbo (China). “Elara-DV” delivered 3600 tn of IFO-380 fuel to “ZIM Beijing”.Let us remind that decision to transfer the 7000 tn-tanker in the category of port fueler became the new approach to logistics in bunkering sector. Appeared opportunity to deliver major consignments of oil products to one of several vessels is the main advantage of high-tonnage fueler. "Elara-DV" is able to carry on its board up to 7.5 thousand tons of cargo. Tanker has an ability to give out the cargo with the speed up to 1000 cubic metre per hour. Such an approach gives opportunities to create a new system within the bunkering market presenting a regular movement of fueler on pre-coordinated schedule according to the inquiries of customers. From the beginning of February 2011 Tranzit-DV Trade House has started selling of IFO-380 fuel within bunkering market of Primorye, all the vessels of modern construction (built within last 10 years) use such fuel. From the first days of selling IFO-380 has become asked-for among the foreign fleet calling at the ports of Primorye. Moreover nowadays it has become profitable to be supplied with bunker fuels in Russian ports because of the situation on the world oil products’ market. For example price for IFO-380 offered in Russian ports of Vladivostok, Nakhodka, Vostochny, Kozmino and others is 150 USD/tn lower in comparison with the nearest Asian bunker center which is South Korean port of Busan. |
